Description

The Recursive Dollhouse is a strange game about a strange dollhouse, in another dollhouse, in another dollhouse... This short, first-person puzzle game challenges the player's understanding of size and perspective as they constantly shrink themselves to delve further into the embedded dollhouses.

History

Game Jam Release

Omiya Games developed the game for Ludum Dare 37 on December, 2016. It was created within 72 hours by a team of three. The game jam theme was, "one room," and the game itself primarily served as an opportunity for one of the team members to experiment with a few features in the 3D modeling tool, Blender.

Features

  • Change the size of your own player character by shrinking into or out of a dollhouse.
  • Play with the keys (and their size) to get access to more dollhouses.
  • Explore 3 chapters of mind-bending puzzles.
  • And yes, the dollhouses are indeed recursiv- indeed recursiv- indeed recursiv-
